Waste Less. Feed More.
At Manna Market, we bridge the food waste gap by rescuing quality, unsold food, and distributing it to those facing food insecurity.
We are a faith-driven food recovery program rescuing quality food to nourish communities, provide opportunities to grow in Christian faith, and steward the environment.
Your support will allow Manna Market to serve a higher level of need from our neighbors during the winter months. Once again, this winter, food shelves across Minnesota are already seeing record demand, and a recent Star Tribune article cites that in 2024 it is expected there will be 9 million visits, over 1.5 million more visits than in 2023.
Locally, Manna Market has had an impact on food insecurity and waste reduction: We have rescued 5 million pounds of food, which has led to 117,800 in person visits to our market (a 400% increase since the pandemic). With such high volumes of food coming in, we have also committed to recycling efforts, leading to 52,000 pounds of cardboard, plastic, and paper no longer going to landfills.
Your gift will directly support hunger relief efforts to nourish the community and steward the environment—by reducing waste.
Your contributions help us to provide for the community, through Manna Market. We are grateful for any amount you contribute and will put your resources to good use in the community.
