Manna Market, a ministry of YouthWay Ministries founded in 2008, rescues surplus food and distributes it with dignity to families across the Twin Cities
Today, we serve 5,000 families each week. Recently, we shifted our operation from primarily hosting distribution at our site to bringing food directly to families who need it most, through 35+ churches, schools, and community partners. This expanded model allows us to reach more households — but it also requires increased transportation and operating support.
Manna Market distributes food at approximately 8 cents per pound — making us one of the most cost-efficient food distribution ministries in Minnesota.
What does that mean?
If you give $10 to Manna Market, that can help distribute roughly 125 pounds of food. If someone spends $10 at the grocery store, they might leave with one small bag. Through food rescue and strategic partnerships, your financial gift multiplies far beyond what most of us could purchase on our own.

Love Delivers: The 5,000 Families Truck Fund
In this season, many Minnesota households are hesitant to step into public spaces, making access to food more fragile than ever. At Manna Market, we respond by rescuing surplus food, packing it with care, and delivering it to trusted community partners who place it directly into the hands of families. Our single truck is running at full capacity, serving 5,000 families each week. To meet the growing need, we are raising $250,000 to purchase an additional delivery truck and fund a full-time driver—allowing us to reach 5,000 more families every week. As people of faith, we believe God’s abundance is meant to be shared, and that love is something we carry to one another in practical ways. Your investment helps love travel farther.
